When you need to recharge, Austin delivers the jolt you need at our unique coffeehouses serving up some darn-good java. Here are our top seven places in Austin to grab a cup of brew:

Medici Roasting: French pressed coffee, friendly service and free Wi-Fi make any of the three Austin locations a great spot to meet, work or grab your caffeine fix. Baked goods and Tacodeli breakfast tacos are also served.

Houndstooth Coffee: Found on North Lamar and downtown in the Frost Bank Building, Houndstooth is for the refined coffee palate. Their friendly baristas serve up espresso coffee and baked goods with a smile. They also sell breakfast tacos from the popular Tacodeli.

The Buzz Mill: Take a break from the daily grind at this log cabin-inspired coffee shop, which is also a full service bar. Located on East Riverside, Buzz Mill brews up locally roasted coffee and homemade infused liquors.

Mozart's Coffee Roasters: Sip a latte as you take in the view of Lake Austin at this local favorite. Mozart's offers fine gourmet coffees from around the world, flame roasted on site every 48 hours for unbeatably rich flavor. The outdoor patio is the place to be on pleasant fall afternoons, and live music plays Thursday through Sunday.

Genuine Joe's: Feel right at home at this neighborhood coffeehouse, known for its friendly staff and fresh roasts. Select traditional coffee drinks or opt for a house special (the Honeynut and 3 Way Mocha are must-trys). You can enjoy open mic nights and live music on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Epoch Coffee: Epoch Coffee is a local favorite located in the bustling North Loop neighborhood. Stop by for your caffeine fix no matter the time of day, because this spot is open 24/7. The large shop offers plenty of seating inside as well as on the outdoor patio, making it its oh so easy to settle in and enjoy.

Sa-Tén Coffee and Eats: Introduced to us by one of our favorite Austin food bloggers, we were delighted to discover this Japanese style coffee shop. Located on the east side of town in a creative complex called Canopy, the cafe serves up tasty coffee and Japanese American fusion food.
