The Head of the Colorado (PumpkinHead Regatta) is a 5,000 meter rowing head
race held annually on the last Saturday of October. Austin Rowing Club has hosted this regatta since the mid-1980s. A US Rowing registered regatta, this event is open to rowers who are US Rowing members, and importantly is host to Pulling For Pink, a uniquely-Austin breast cancer awareness event within the Regatta.

Over 1,200 participants and 1,500 spectators will be attending the 2016 Head of Colorado Regatta. This event brings in individuals from all over the country. Pulling for Pink combines our love of Lady Bird Lake with the power of community support to “turn the river pink” with friends, loved ones, and warriors in the battle against breast cancer.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of such a high caliber event!
Austin Rowing Club regattas would not be possible without the support of our volunteers. We're
using SignUp.com to organize our volunteers. Visit http://signup.com/go/fxPc24 . Your time and
commitment are greatly appreciated. All volunteers will be provided with volunteer T-shirt, breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments.
