Born in St. Louis and influenced by some of the great jazz musicians, Meg Johnson is a dynamic vocalist who immediately draws the listener in and puts them at ease. Her voice is an instrument that she plays with style and grace, uniquely interpreting standards with power and soul. Meg studied voice at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and has been singing professionally for fifteen years. After being introduced to the classic recordings of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, her passion for jazz took hold. In the late 90’s she performed with her trio on the East Coast, playing clubs in New York City and Connecticut. In Upstate New York she worked with many talented musicians including pianist Pete Levin (Wayne Shorter, Gil Evans), singer Eric Mingus (Bobby McFerrin, Carla Bley), drummer Eric Parker (Bonnie Raitt, Steve Winwood) and bassist Chris Wood (Medeski, Martin & Wood, John Scofield). Meg has lived in Austin, Texas since 2007 and has performed with the Austin Pops, guitarist Russell Scanlon (Alex Coke, Tina Marsh), bassist Jessica Valls (Glover Gill, Graham Reynolds) and Will Taylor & Strings Attached.

Jamie Thomas had his musical epiphany not at the proverbial crossroads but a schoolyard in Astoria, Queens, where the music of Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and others touched his soul and inspired him to play music as well as write songs. He honed his skills as a performer playing New York clubs in a band before striking out on his own, making his bones as a solo act in the ground zero of the American folk movement, Greenwich Village................. He later headed south of Mason-Dixon line spending time in Nashville before landing in Austin, Tx for several years. Now residing in West Hollywood, Jamie continues to perform his own steeped-in-the-tradition originals with his reinterpretations of other numbers from the great real American music songbook that span from its origins to today. Jamie Thomas' song "She's" will be heard in an upcoming indie film and his track "Wild as the Fire" is slated to be heard in an upcoming online television series.
