Writer, journalist, art critic and creative director Glenn O'Brien has been at the forefront of writing about art, fashion, music, and literature for the past 50 years. In conjunction with the Blanton’s exhibition, Warhol By the Book, O’Brien will be speaking about his work as Editor and Art Director of Andy Warhol's magazine, Interview, in the 1970s.

Glenn O'Brien is widely known for his work in many media, including:
His television shows TV Party, an avant-garde public access talk show featuring guests from Jean-Michel Basquiat to The Clash, and his current show Tea at the Beatrice with Glenn O'Brien, featuring guests from Giselle Bündchen to Baz Luhrmann. David Letterman famously referred to TV Party as "the greatest TV show ever."
His columns as GQ Magazine's The Style Guy, from 1999–2015
His regular contributions to publications such as Artforum, Vogue, and The New York Times
His work as creative director on some of the most influential contemporary fashion campaigns, from Calvin Klein's iconic underwear ads with Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss in the 1990s, to Chanel's 2012 "There You Are" campaign, starring Brad Pitt
His essays in books about contemporary artists such as Christopher Wool, Tom Sachs, and Richard Prince
