RHYTHMIC STATUES is an Americana Jam Band where the song comes first and is then creatively expanded during each live performance.

Featuring CARTER ARRINGTON, MIKE MORGAN, and DARRELL COMMANDER, formerly of Peter Rowan’s Twang an’ Groove and the Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

Also featuring PAT MANSKE, drummer for Alejandro Escovedo, Joe Ely, The Flatlanders, and Bruce Robison.

RHYTHMIC STATUES is perhaps best described as an Americana jam band, but their sound transcends genres and defies categorization.

All of The Statues are accomplished musicians, singers, and/or songwriters who add their diverse influences to a whole that is much greater than the sum of its parts.

RHYTHMIC STATUES was originally founded in the early 2000’s, but the current incarnation of the band re-formed in late 2012. RHYTHMIC STATUES‘ debut studio album (“One Big Day) will be released in 2016.

“RHYTHMIC STATUES is a hell of a talented group of musicians pulling from many genres of music. Their performance at the 2016 29th Annual Old Settler’s Music Festival was amazing. Give them a listen. They have arrived. — Scott Marshall, President, Old Settlers Music Festival
