The Travis County Exposition Center hosts numerous events throughout the year, including the Austin-Travis County Livestock Show and Rodeo. Horse shows and livestock events are held in the show barn. Wedding receptions, arts and crafts shows, birthday parties, meetings, and trade shows are held in the Banquet Hall and Skyline Club.
The Banquet Hall is one of the largest meeting rooms available in Austin with 15,000 square feet. This area can accommodate any combination of dining, exhibits, seminars, and meetings.
The Skyline Club is a beautiful 6,000 square foot room offering a variety of uses. Complete with two large built-in bars, panoramic view of the Austin skyline, banquet seating for 150 people with a capacity of 400 people. An additional 1,500 square foot outside Balcony area will allow great viewing of the Capitol.
The Luedecke Arena is entirely covered, the 25,000 square foot arena floor is surrounded by stadium seating for 6,500 people, or for other purposes such as a car show. Livestock staging and handling areas are available. Additionally, a 9,000 square foot exhibit area is located east of the arena.
Over the years, The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo has grown from a show featuring 16 animals into one of Austin's premier events, featuring ProRodeo events, daily concerts, livestock show and more.
