Jacob's Well is perhaps the longest underwater cave in Texas and an artesian spring that delivers several thousand gallons of water per minute. It acts as the headwaters to Cypress Creek that flows through Wimberley into Blue hole and then to the Blanco River. The Natural area is one of the most significant natural geologic areas in the Texas Hill Country. There is a limit of 25 persons at the Spring at one time for swimming so get there early, with a limit of 300 guests per day. Tours are given on Saturday's at 10 a.m. Admission fee: $9 for adults and $5 for Hays County residents, children ages 5-12, active military and veterans. Children under 4 free.
