The Blanton welcomes you to host a wide range of events in our unique and exclusive rental spaces. Whether you are planning an elegant wedding reception or a contemporary film screening, the Blanton Museum of Art offers a one-of-a-kind setting for your event. Spaces available for rental in the Blanton’s Michener Gallery Building include the Rapoport Atrium, with a soaring 50-foot ceiling and spectacular skylights. Whether you wish to host a black-tie dinner or a grand reception, the Rapoport Atrium will make a lasting impression on every attendee. In addition to the atrium, the Michener Gallery Building includes a large mezzanine overlooking the main floor space. The Mezzanine is a perfect location for pre-event cocktails, or an exclusive lounge. Additionally, the galleries on the second floor display an impressive variety of art sure to engage and delight all who attend your event. (Please note: The Mezzanine and second floor galleries will be closed and unavailable for rental between July 2016 and February 2017) Spaces available for rental in the Edgar A. Smith Building include the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Grand Foyer, ideally suited to private evening receptions up to 200 guests, or intimate seated dinners under 80. The Mezzanine in the Smith Building is ideal for use as a reception space in conjunction with an auditorium program. It features beautiful views of the Faulkner Plaza and the Michener Gallery Building. Additionally, the Smith building offers the Blanton Auditorium for speaker engagements or film screenings, the Capitol Room for conferences or private receptions, and the Meadows Classroom for small group meetings or seminars.
