American Chopper Takes It to the Streets―The Austin Sports Commission announces plans for the Discovery Channel's popular American Chopper to film in Austin. More than 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the public event, October 27-29. Show hosts Paul Senior, Paul Junior and Mikey Teutul lead the pack as they highlight new developments in motorcycle technology and custom build a chopper to be awarded to one festival attendee. The two-day event also offers food and drink, as well as live performances from some of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll.
"We're very excited to have American Chopper filming in Austin, the only Texas stop on the tour. The event speaks to Austin's popularity among the show's viewing audience. Our live music scene is inviting, and we're already well-known among the biker community," says Craig Jenkins, executive director of the Austin Sports Commission. Visit http://dsc.discovery.com for tour details.
