Noteworthy:
New Online Travel Package Launched―The Austin CVB partnered with Groove Labs to create the newest travel packages on the CVB website, www.austintexas.org. The "Austin Rock Star" package includes facilities, instruments and musicians to record your own CD and DVD with up to five friends. The "Austin Recording Artist" Package allows up to three people three hours of recording time in a studio.
Visitor Center Hires Assistant Manager―Suzanne Watson joins the Austin Visitor Center as assistant manager. Watson comes to the Bureau with a wealth of tourism industry knowledge from various locations, such as the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park, the Wyndham Hotel in Austin and, most recently, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
New Washington Office―Due the recent expansion of the sales team in the Washington D.C. market, ACVB moves to larger office space on March 6. The new address is:
