New Media Relations Manager Joins ACVB

Austin CVB recently named Beth Krauss as Media Relations Manager for the Marketing Communications Department. In this position, Krauss works with the local, national and international media to generate editorial coverage about Austin and the tourism industry.

Krauss comes to ACVB from the Driskill Hotel, where she served as marketing coordinator. While there, she handled media requests, wrote press releases, arranged media events for Chef David Bull and maintained the hotel's websites. A native of Cincinnati, OH, Krauss graduated cum laude from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN with a major in humanities and cultural studies.

"Beth is a terrific addition to our staff. From her tenure at the Driskill, she brings extensive knowledge of the local hospitality industry, as well as practical, hands-on experience with promoting Austin to the media," says Bob Lander, ACVB President & CEO.
