New editions of the city's only official visitor and convention publications are now available. The 2005-06 Austin Meeting Planner & Destination Guide is available at the Austin CVB offices, 301 Congress Ave., Suite 200, while the Fall/Winter edition of the Austin Official Visitor Guide is available at the Visitor Center, 209 E. Sixth St., and virtually at www.austintexas.org.

Austin CVB Offers Free Package/Coupon Programs
According to the Travel Industry Association of America, more than 65 percent of the country's travelers use the Internet for travel planning. Therefore, the Austin CVB Tourism Department encourages hotels, restaurants and attractions to participate in free online travel packages and discount coupon programs available at www.austintexas.org, a website that receives approximately 35,000 visits per month.
