Customer Advisory Board Reviews Meetings Product
Austin CVB recently hosted the second meeting of the Bureau's Customer Advisory Board (CAB), a group of industry leaders representing associations and meeting management firms from across the country. Members of the board met at the Hyatt Regency Austin to provide critical feedback and insight relating to the city's growth as a premier meetings and convention destination.
Since the CAB's inaugural meeting in February, Austin CVB has acted on several key recommendations, including new website features and the development of new sales collateral materials.
"The competitive landscape for group business is changing rapidly, and Austin is getting more attention than ever as a national meetings destination," says Bob Lander, Austin CVB President and CEO. "After only two meetings, we are already seeing the benefits of the CAB, especially in the areas of sales, marketing, industry trends and best practices."
CAB members enjoyed an opening night dinner at the Austin City Limits studio with a special performance by Haydn Vitera. The following evening the CAB enjoyed a Hill Country sunset and lakefront dinner at The Oasis.

Ballet Austin's Butler
