Contestants Pour Creative Juices Into Batini Contest―Austin CVB, along with Tito's Handmade Vodka, recently hosted the fourth annual "Batini" competition, designating the Official Drink of Austin to promote local tourism and the nightly flight of the Congress Avenue bats. Finalists from the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, Renaissance Austin Hotel, Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill, Lamberts Downtown Barbecue and The Belmont presented their recipes to a panel of judges - stirring, shaking and even singing - in an effort to receive exclusive rights to selling the new official drink. Lamberts emerged victorious with their unique recipe. Click here to view coverage of the contest in the Austin Chronicle.
