Austin City Limits Music Festival
One of the country's largest celebrations of music, this six-day festival brings the magic of the famed public TV series Austin City Limits outside the studio and into Austin's most beloved park with more than 130 musical acts on eight stages over two weekends.
Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden
This is one of the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations in town, spanning four days (and nights). Eat, drink, dance and play to your heart's desire at this all-out party on Rainey Street.
Austin Film Festival

Recognized as one of the top film festivals in the country, this cinematic event shines the spotlight on both top-billed films and indies alike.
Dia de los Muertos Music Festival
The festival will feature renowned recording artists in the Latin and Texas music industries. The festival will offer food and beverages, cultural performances, altar contest as well as Kids Zone activities for kids.
FORMULA 1 United States Grand Prix
Circuit of The AmericasTM
International drivers will be in Austin this October to compete in the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas track. This event promises three days of racing, camping, live music events and more - including a headlining performance by Taylor Swift for ticketholders.
This year, the Austin Saengerrunde will celebrate the 4th annual AustOberfest in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of Scholz Garten, the oldest continuously operating tavern in the state. This festival celebrates German heritage in Texas with beer, sausage, live music and bowling!
Austin Symphony Orchestra Presents: Halloween Children's Concert
The Long Center for the Performing Arts - Dell Hall
This concert is a wonderful chance for you to introduce your children to the wonders of live orchestral music and also a great opportunity to wear costumes and have tons of fun. The concert hall will be decorated top to bottom to enhance your little one's concert experience.
Texas Monthly BBQ Festival
City Terrace at The Long Center
Now in its fourth year, this tasty festival only has four rules: muster as many of Texas' best BBQ joints as possible; have them serve up their specialties, side-by-side; let smoke and sauce fly for five intoxicating hours; and finally, let The People decide who made the best goods.
Ironman 70.3 Austin
Race in Texas's capital of cool with one of the only indoor finishes on the Ironman circuit. The swim will begin in Lake Walter E. Long, the bike ride will loop through rolling Texas farmlands, and final run will end inside Luedecke Arena.

Christmas at the Caswell House has been an Austin community tradition since 1983. The Austin Junior Forum transforms this historic home into a winter wonderland. Now in its 32nd year, Christmas at Caswell raises funds that are distributed to local charities and non-profits through our grants program.
Sound on Sound Festival
Austin's newest progressive music festival, Sound on Sound, takes on Sherwood Forest this November. The festival promises three days of music by local, national and international touring indie rock, hip hop, punk, and dance acts.

Texas Book Festival

The Texas Book Festival has evolved into one of the premier literary events in the country and hosts about 250 authors each year. More than 40,000 book lovers of all ages attend the Festival annually, enjoying readings, panel discussions, signings, cooking demonstrations, live music, local food, YA authors, children's activities and exhibiting vendors from across the state.
Austin Celtic Festival
This annual festival is also the largest gathering of Celts in Central Texas. The event is home to four stages of Irish, Scottish and Breton music, dance, sports, storytelling, workshops and more.
East Austin Studio Tour
More than 70 Eastside studios open their doors for the public's viewing and purchasing pleasure.
A Christmas Affair

Blue Genie Art Bazaar
The Marchesa Hall & Theatre
The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a unique holiday art show held in Austin. Open again for more than 15 years, the free Bazaar features handmade artwork and gifts from more than 200 local and regional artists - with a portion of proceeds going to Make-A-Wish® Foundation.
Chuy's Christmas Parade
