Austin Sound and Cinema
Austin Sound and Cinema will feature six weeks of unique pairings of live music and some of the most popular movies of all time. Bands will perform a tribute to the movie, followed by the film screening on The Alamo's giant inflatable outdoor screen. This will take place on the lawn at The Long Center, with the perfect view of the sun setting on the downtown skyline behind the stage.
Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks
Austin's largest Independence Day celebration is held at Auditorium Shores at The Long Center and features patriotic music by the Austin Symphony with a grand finale fireworks display over Lady Bird Lake.
Movies at Deep Eddy
Watch family-friendly flicks like "Ghostbusters" on the grassy knoll or from an inner tube in the 70-degree water at Deep Eddy Pool with the Summer Splash Movie Series Saturdays at dusk.
Blues on the Green
Pack a blanket and the family and make your way to Zilker Park for this summertime tradition. Held every other Wednesday May 29 to August 7, Austin's largest free concert series welcomes performances by the likes of Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears and Bob Schneider.
Zilker Summer Musical
Enjoy the free annual musical at the Zilker Hillside Theatre. The outdoor amphitheater will host a performance of "The Little Shop of Horrors" Thursday through Sunday, July 12 through August 17 at 8:30 p.m.
Concerts in the Park
Celebrating 11 years, the Austin Symphony Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park are held in front of The Long Center Sundays June 2 to August 25 at 7:30 p.m. Concerts include jazz, light classical, pops selections and film scores.
