Bring your appetite for April's world-class celebration of flavors.

The Austin Food & Wine Festival brings the best of the culinary world to Austin's already acclaimed dining scene. The weekend-long event, to be held April 26-28, features presentations and tastings from an impressive list of globally acclaimed chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and winemakers, as well as several stars from local favorite eateries such as East Side King and Barley Swine.

The festival kicks off with an all-star tribute to the Lone Star State during Friday night's Taste of Texas. Sample cuisine from a lineup of Texas' top chefs, all serving their signature dishes, and jam out to live music from Delta Spirit and Whiskey Shivers. The big opening bash is sure to set the tone for a weekend full of flavor and festivities.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday, satisfy your culinary curiosity in more than 40 cooking demonstrations and wine and cocktail seminars. (Where else can you learn how to make leftovers sexy with super chef Marcus Samuelsson and get grilling and tailgate secrets from Texas' own Tim Love?)

But the highlight of the star-studded weekend is the H-E-B Grand Tasting Pavilion. Open both Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the Grand Tastings give you (and your appetite) access to an unbelievable variety of the nation's top wine, spirit and culinary exhibitors. So, grab your wine glass and make your way through more than 20,000 square feet of tastings from food artisans, vintners and distilleries from Austin and beyond.

Presented by FOOD & WINE Magazine, this can't-miss event benefits the Austin Food + Wine Alliance. Go online now to reserve your spot; tickets are available at www.austinfoodandwinefestival.com/tickets.
