The best place to head for the hottest gay nightlife is Austin's Warehouse District. Hip, chic and upscale, Rain on 4th is where you can dance to the latest rhythms and club music spun by popular DJs.
Oilcan Harry's has been revered as one of the top gay bars in Austin and in America for more than 15 years. The upscale club is home to cutting-edge music, karaoke nights and a friendly staff ready to mix the perfect martini to start the evening off right.
On Stage

Arts on Real serves as the city's premier alternative theater for a number of gay-themed productions. The venue also hosts events such as Loaded Gun Theory, Writer's Block open mic nights for all types of material, and monthly screenings of independent films.

For the Southwest's oldest and largest LGBTQI film event, be sure to attend the Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival (aGLIFF) Sept. 8–13, 2009.
This widely popular festival features more than 150 films spanning topics that include culture, race, immigration status, class, gender identity and expression, age and region. Combining entertainment with community outreach and education, aGLIFF is implementing year-round programming and community projects.
