Kick off your holiday season at the annual Austin Area Jazz Festival! The 2019 festival begins on Friday, November 29 with An Intimate Evening of Jazz at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex (MYEC), from 8 p.m. - 12 a.m.; doors open at 7 p.m. The festival continues with a day-long outdoor celebration that will take place Saturday, November 30 at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (MAAC) from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.; gates open at 12 p.m.
Since its inception, the Austin Area Jazz Festival has been building a legacy of great jazz by showcasing an exclusive and diverse array of musical and visual artists, along with wine tastings and more. The 2019 line up will feature Sheila E., Kirk Whalum, Walter Beasley, Avery*Sunshine, Tom Browne, Jeff Bradshaw, Cindy Bradley and Mike Hamilton.
To help plan your stay, the festival has partnered with a nearby hotel to offer exclusive room rates for attendees. Fairmont Austin, an upmarket hotel located a mile from the Texas State Capitol. The Austin Area Jazz Festival is a great way to spend time with family and friends as visitors experience all that Austin has to offer.

Tickets & VIP Weekend Passes are on sale now. General admission tickets are $35 on Friday and $55 on Saturday. The VIP Weekend Pass is $125, which gives you access to both events.
The Austin Area Jazz Festival is operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization; all proceeds from the festival go directly into funding the organization's ongoing programs.
