9/27/16 - 10/2/ 16 Disney’s "Newsies" Bass Concert Hall
Direct from Broadway comes "Newsies," the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing new musical from Disney. Winner of the 2012 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Choreography, "Newsies" is based on true events, and tells the story of a band of underdogs who become unlikely heroes when they stand up to the most powerful men in New York. 10/1/16 - 10/30/16 "Rosita y Conchita" Austin Scottish Rite Theater
"Rosita y Conchita" is a Día de los Muertos play in English and Spanish about two sisters who try to reunite on the Day of the Dead. Along the way Rosita keeps getting lost, but she miraculously finds her way to Conchita through familiar sounds and images. Kids of all ages will love the rhyming bilingual dialogue and touching images. Based on the award-winning children’s book "Rosita y Conchita" by Erich Haeger and Eric González. 10/5/16 "Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure" ACL Live at the Moody Theater
"Octonauts Live" features songs led by the entire Octonauts eight-member crew including Captain Barnacles, Lieutenant Kwazii and Medic Peso, as they invite audiences aboard an underwater quest through a world full of adventure, interactivity, and tons of sea life surprises. This is a high-tech production featuring costume characters and animated projections to a massive screen on stage. Tickets start at $26 and can be purchased here.
10/14/16 - 12/3/16 "Charlotte’s Web" ZACH Theatre
Based on the classic children’s book, this tells the story of Charlotte the spider who weaves a path to freedom for a pig named Wilbur in this heartwarming tale of friendship and devotion. 10/16/16 "Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live!" The Long Center
Daniel and all of his friends are hopping aboard Trolley to delight live audiences. Daniel takes the audience on an interactive musical adventure. 10/28/16 - 10/30/16 "The Man Who Planted Trees" Paramount Theater
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the National Parks Service with "The Man Who Planted Trees." In this ecologically inspired tale, a French shepherd sets out to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland acorn by acorn. Their uplifting and unforgettable story shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world. Based on the book by Jean Giono. Best for kids in 2nd – 8th grade. 11/25/16 - 11/26/16 "Annie" The Long Center
The world’s best-loved musical returns in time-honored form. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin and choreographed by Liza Gennaro, this production of "Annie" will be a brand new incarnation of the iconic original. Tickets start at $29 and can be purchased online here.

11/23/16 - 12/31/16 "A Christmas Carol" ZACH Theatre
Each year, ZACH’s "A Christmas Carol" features new hit songs and reimagined carols that create an infectious spirit that will have everyone dancing in the aisles.
