Austin in August just wouldn't be complete without the the heat of the 25th Annual Hot Sauce Festival! Take a trip to Fiesta Gardens on August 23 to experience new tastes, live music, family activities and of course, some hot sauces. The Hot Sauce Fest is sponsored by the Austin Chronicle in partnership with the Capital Area Food bank. You can bring a few non-perishable food items to donate at the door or pay $5 for admission. Whether you come as a spectator or a sauce maker, there is plenty of spice here to go around.

When: Sunday, August 23, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Where: Fiesta Gardens (2100 Jesse E. Segovia St.)
How Much: Admission is either donation of three healthy, nonperishable food items or a $5 cash donation to the Austin Area Food Bank.
Vendors: Amy's Ice Creams, Sun Garden Shaved Ice, Curra's Grill, Slab BBQ, Brick Oven, and Veracruz All Natural.
