Pedernales Cellars, Stonewall: This family-owned winery is famous for its award-winning Tempranillos and Viogniers. Wimberley Market Days, Wimberley: On the first Saturday of each month (March through December), over 450 vendors set up booths at the second largest flea market in Texas, offering Texas-made crafts and goods. Admission is free. shopmarketdays.com

First Friday Art Walk, Fredericksburg: On every first Friday in Fredericksburg, 13 art galleries open its doors to showcase the fine artistic talent from the area and beyond. Most galleries offer free wine and live entertainment within a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. ffawf.com
