Established in 1871, Historic Scoot Inn is known as the oldest bar in central Texas. This landmark venue has catered to the proletariat and the bon vivant in search of a hard drink and easy friendship. In recent years the venue has expanded to host a wide range of musicians across all genres.

Aesthetic renovations combined with top of the line production have helped Scoot Inn foster a reputation as one of the best live music venues in town.

With special events as unique as the city and live music every week, there is always a reason to drop in. Check out the Chronicle Dive Inn Theatre on Wednesdays, featuring free movies and drink specials and Thursday Bike Night with free admission for motorcycles.

Pair a Lone Star beer with bites from their on site food truck Hot Mess serving up barbecue, tacos, and burgers from 4 p.m. 12 a.m. daily.
