The 8th Annual Pachanga Latino Music Festival takes place on Saturday, May 16 at Fiesta Gardens. Pachanga is a Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival dedicated to showcasing the vibrant blend of Latino-created music and art and the impact it has on American culture today.
The 2015 festival roster includes performances from former Mexican actress Ximena Sariana, Mexican rock band Motel, Spanish rap star Mala Rodrguez, Latin alternative group Kinky, Mexico-City based retro-rockers Enjambre, Compass: Mexican Institute of Sound & Toy Selectah, a collaboration between Camilo Lara aka Mexican Institute of Sound and legendary DJ producer Toy Selectah, Latin rock artist Ceci Bastida, and Latin alternative artist Mara Del Pilar. The festival also includes Nios Rock Pachanga, which offers fun and excitement for the whole family. Tickets are available for purchase at select ticket outlets or on the Pachanga Latino Music Festival website. Ticket sales for General admission are $45 and $100 for VIP. Children twelve and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. The VIP aka Very Important Taco area offers ticket holders a complimentary five-taco tasting showcasing offerings from local Austin restaurants such as Tacodeli, Fresas, Fork & Taco, El Chile, and Rosarito from 3:307:30 p.m.
