It’s time to ring in the New Year! 2017 will soon be upon us and there is no better place to celebrate than in Austin, Texas, The Live Music Capital of the World®. The events are plentiful during this time of year and below are a few of the big ones:

This alcohol-free, family-friendly event celebrates the diversity and creativity of the city with 4 stages, 22 bands, visual art installations, jugglers, storytellers, fire dancers, food trucks and a grand fireworks finale at 10 p.m. Headliners include Shinyribs, CAPYAC, Harvest Thieves, Ray Wylie Hubbard and more. 3 p.m. - 10:25 p.m.

W Austin’s New Year’s Eve 2016 W Austin ($50+)
The W Austin Hotel knows how to ring in the New Year with two parties, two floors and a hangover brunch to follow. Feel the glow at the Neon Party or glam it up at the Gold Party, then soak it up with all-you-can-eat pancakes and Tito’s vodka the next morning. 11 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Speakeasy Legendary New Year’s Eve Bash Speakeasy ($49+)
Every year since 1997, Speakeasy has been throwing an extraordinary New Year’s Eve party. With three venues rolled into one, their bash promises to be even bigger and better this year. Acclaimed DJs, live music, bottle service and champagne toasts are the perfect way to start off your 2017. This year Austin Party Band performs with special guest DJs. 8 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Roaring '20s New Year’s Eve 2016 Eberly ($200+)
Celebrate the New Year at one of Austin’s newly acclaimed bars in Gatsby-style. The package includes a four course pre-fixe menu by Chef Jim Tripi and party with a live band, two DJs, dancers and more. Be sure to dress to the nines for this Prohibition era, black tie bash. Starting at 8 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Video Dance Party Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Ritz & South Lamar ($25+)
New Year’s Eve at a movie theater? Yes, but not just any movie theater, it’s the iconic Alamo Drafthouse Cinema on Sixth Street and they are no strangers to throwing a good dance party. As you enter the theater you will be served a glass of champagne in a commemorative glass and then take a seat at your own table to enjoy a night with music video DJs starring the biggest pop hits of the year. Starting at 9:45 p.m.

Spend a sophisticated, low key night at North Loop's drink.well. The cocktail bar will feature a special holiday food and cocktail menu as well as a complimentary champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight so make sure you're here with a drink in hand! 4 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Bob Schneider’s New Year’s Eve Party Paramount Theatre ($35+)
Spend the evening with Bob Schneider, Austin-based singer, songwriter and former lead-singer of the Ugly Americans at Austin’s historic theatre, the Paramount. Opening as a vaudeville house in 1915, the Paramount Theatre soon changed with the times to become Austin’s grand movie and concert palace. Doors at 8 p.m.; Show at 9 p.m.

The NYE Party at Fair Market Fair Market ($135+)
Tickets are going fast for this annual party at Fair Market! For one price, you'll enjoy a performance by DJ ULOVEI, a champagne toast, pizza and all-inclusive drinks. Dance your way into 2017 on the right foot, as a portion of the ticket sales will go to The Clifford Antone Foundation - helping to preserve Austin’s music culture and community by caring for elders and investing in youth. 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Austin Saengerrunde New Year's Gala Saengerrunde Halle ($20)
Austin Saengerrunde's holiday event, full of wholesome entertainment, live music, and dancing. Put on your dancing shoes, Czech Melody Masters play an array of music that fills the air with music that will make you waltz into 2017. Family friendly. 8 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Refresh 2017 – New Year’s Eve Empire Control Room & Garage ($25+)
Head to the Red River Cultural District for three stages of local, live music featuring CAPYAC, Riders Against the Storm, Body Rock ATX, MotherSIP and more. These tickets sold out quickly last year, so grab them fast. 7 p.m. - 2 a.m.

“Inhibition Prohibition,” A New Year’s Eve 1920s Speakeasy Ironwood Hall ($135+)
Break out the black ties for Austin Social Affair's prohibition cabaret experience. Enjoy a night filled with burlesque dancers, DJs, casino tables, a confetti drop and an all-inclusive sponsored bar. 9 p.m. - 3 a.m.
