The second annual Kitchen Battle will be our biggest event of the year, a multi-day pickleball tournament to kick off Deaf Awareness Month in September, with Fixed and Mixed Doubles events. While the kitchen plays an important role in pickleball -- the kitchen is also culturally meaningful in the deaf community as a space where deaf people gather and also where conversations happen. This will be a big weekend festival, with vendors and activities showcasing the diversity of our deaf communities.
