    About

Texas Water Foundation is proud to present our 10th Annual, Water Texas Film Festival! The Water, Texas Film Festival invites emerging filmmakers from across the state to share and celebrate what water means to them and their communities.

From creative narrative pieces to engaging documentaries, our filmmakers create innovative works on the topic of Water and Texas - that's it. Our finalists are selected by award winning director and Texas native, Richard Linklater for the chance to win in one of four categories: Under 18, Documentary, Narrative/Art, and Film about a Water Organization.

Additionally, this year, we are excited to showcase a first look and Q+A discussion on the latest film by Texas philanthropist and conservationist Ellen Temple and documentarian Curtis Craven entitled, Life on the Neches River.

Join us on April 1st to enjoy a drink, enter for the chance to win one of our door prizes, and see some amazing films. Film lovers, water advocates, conservationists, and Texas enthusiasts will all find something to be inspired by at the 10th Annual Water, Texas Film Festival.

Door Prizes at the 10th Annual Water, Texas Film Festival include:
Texas glass artwork of the Neches River by Craig Odle, Ed Esclovon and Eddie Markey
    Chiso's Handcrafted Cowhide Cowboy Boots
    Patagonia Gear
