The Celebration features several diverse writers discussing their latest books and taking questions from the audience. Topics covered will include Black romance novels, Latina(o) American Literature, building book clubs, and the history of black high school football in Texas Featured writers include Natalia Sylvester, author of the upcoming novel EVERYONE KNOWS YOU GO HOME, UT Austin professor John Moran Gonzalez, editor of the CAMBRIDGE COMPANION TO LATINA(O) AMERICAN LITERATURE, Chaitali Sen, author of the novel THE PATHLESS SKY, and Jacob Grovey, author of the black children’s book THE ADVENTURES OF AUSTYN.
