The Baron's Men is proud to announce All For One, a new play by longtime TBM collaborators Aaron Niemuth and Laura Trezise. The Baron’s Men is a Resident Repertory not-for-profit community theatre presenting historic theatre, staged and costumed in a manner that is as historically accurate as possible. We aim to provide educational elements in all aspects of production that prove the work is still relevant, interesting, and engaging to modern audiences. Our home is The Curtain Theater, a scale replica of Shakespeare's original Globe Theater on the shores of Lake Austin. Inspired by the true historical event known as “Day of The Dupes” in 17th century France, All For One is an uproarious tale of how three unlikely women uncover a plot by Marie de Medici against her own son, King Louis XIII. Being rebuffed by the men in charge, our heroines are left to defend King and country on their own. This play features female heroes, female villains, courtship, camaraderie, and lots of ladies wielding swords!
