The “Red Poppy Capital Of Texas,” Georgetown, Texas, celebrates the return of the Annual Red Poppy Festival April 25-27, 2025. This is the 26th year that the city has hosted the popular, free, three-day festival to celebrate the history and beauty of its poppy season. Red Poppies have decorated Georgetown’s landscape for more than 100 years; one of the few places in the United States where Red Poppies reseed every year.

The 2025 festival will feature live music and arts performances throughout the weekend, handcrafted works from local artisans, a classic car show, food and family-friendly activities, including a Kid’s Fun Zone, and more. The Red Poppy Parade takes place Saturday morning passing through Georgetown’s historic town square, known as “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.”
