Austin Museum Day is one of the great things Austinites look forward to each fall. This year, forty-five museums in the greater Austin area will welcome visitors with special programming, including guided exhibition tours, hands-on activities, and more, for visitors of all ages. With only a limited amount of time, it’s hard to see it all, but we're going to do our best to check them out this Sunday. Of course, with 30,000 people expected to participate, it might be a little easier if we leave our cars at home....

MAKE IT A SMART TRIP! Capital Metro, in conjunction with Smart Trips Austin invite you for a Transit Adventure, with a guided ride, trip plans and free Local Day Passes so you can spend more time exploring museums than parking lots!
