Creative Fusion Fest is a multidisciplinary community arts event showcasing the talents of featured artist Dennis Jacob Berry, also known as Mr. Skillion. This one-day activation will include live music performances, interactive art displays, and a curated merchandise pop-up featuring Berry’s original works. The event fosters community engagement through networking activities, table games, and a relaxed backyard atmosphere. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with local creatives, celebrate Black cultural expression, and participate in a collaborative and inclusive arts experience that reflects the vibrancy of East Austin.. As an inaugural event, Creative Fusion Fest is designed to lay the foundation for an annual city-supported platform that elevates emerging and established artists while celebrating the rich Black and East Austin creative community. The event also offers community-building through interactive activities like networking, table games, and local vendor engagement. With its potential for curated recurring programming, the festival aims to become a signature cultural experience that bridges art, music, and historical relevance for residents and visitors alike
