    About

Nell Anderson is an award-winning artist and dedicated educator whose work blends fire and form. With over 20 years of artistic experience and 15 years in art education, she specializes in pyrography, using wood burning and colored pencil to create intricate, nature-inspired portraits. Her striking animal silhouettes capture depth, texture, and emotion.

Guided by her grandfather, Harold Robbins, Anderson discovered her passion for art early, later earning a B.A. in Studio Art from Texas State University. Constantly exploring new mediums, she works with pastels, resin, fiber, and digital media, often referencing her own photography. As an educator, she inspires students to embrace artistic expression, believing that creativity shapes identity and fosters personal growth.
