Texas has long been a wellspring of songwriting talent, and nowhere is it more evident than in the songs that were written in the 1970s. This exceptional period yielded iconic songs by Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, Michael Murphey and many others. This is the well from which the Lost Austin Band draws its music.
All the members of the Lost Austin Band were active and engaged in this wonderful period and bring rare authenticity to this music. All members of the Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame, they are among the hottest veterans of the Austin music scene. And boy can they sing!
