Spend the day in historic downtown Bastrop, Texas only a short drive from Austin. During the day explore the Lost Pines Christmas Festival where visitors will find Christmas caroling, hot cocoa, popcorn, hot dogs, s’mores, window decorating, Christmas stories, photo ops, oversized games, Letters to Santa, and more! Then, later in the day around dusk return to Main Street for the annual Lighted Christmas Parade where over 130 entries will roll down Main Street in fanciful floats to fire trucks, unicycles to vintage cars, dancing Honey Bears to dignitaries, from Santa’s helpers to the big man himself.
