    About

How far would you go for The Good Life?

20-something couple Jules & Ash and their gamer neighbors Devon & Chris are trapped in an unending cycle of late rent, mounting debt, and day-old pizza. Across from their apartment complex is Natatorium, a premier gated community full of gleaming mansions, sparkling pools, and possibilities ripe for the taking.

You decide the fate of these would-be thieves as they reach for a shinier life...even if that means taking down a mega-rich-corporate-jerk or two along the way.

WARNING: This show features adult language and themes of violence.

Natatorium is an interactive theatrical experience streamed live on YouTube, with a live score tailored to every performance by a sextet of musicians - and you'll be calling the shots.

The brainchild of groundbreaking improvised music conductor Kenzie Slottow and award-winning director Kaci Beeler in collaboration with Density512 and American Berserk Theatre, Natatorium pushes the limits of virtual performance technology to combine a chamber ensemble of six phenomenal musicians with an incredible 10-person ensemble cast of improvising actors! After months of purely digital rehearsals, the cast and crew will perform live together from Austin and six other US cities. Audience members will be asked to interact in the chat to make key decisions that affect the outcome of the story.

This is a show for comedy-goers, theatre-buffs, and music-lovers alike! We’ll use Conduction, a gestural vocabulary for improvising chamber music, to craft a musical score that supports and propels the story. You might hear character themes, atmospheric sound effects, evocative underscoring, or full-out songs. Each night will be a unique experience that will never be repeated.
