    Group Exhibition

    OPENING RECEPTION:
    Saturday, September 14th, 12:00pm - 4:00pm

    EXHIBITION DATES:
    Friday, August 23rd - Friday, October 25th, 2024

What does it take for an artist to elevate their art so they are exhibiting in a fine art gallery? Art for the People Gallery will be bringing art lovers on the artistic journey with the 38+ Austin artists participating in “Grit to Greatness”. We’ve all dabbled in some type of art medium - watercolors, acrylics, clay - there are so few that persist. What fuels an artist to create and share their art with us? Where does the artist find the courage & strength to persist - that is “Grit”!

Art for the People Gallery’s exhibition, "Grit to Greatness," is a powerful concept. It highlights the artist's journey and the courage it takes to share their work. Throughout the 9 week long exhibition, we will be sharing inspiring stories & exploring the depth of artistic talent.

And remember - Your Support Fuels Creativity.

Every exhibition, Art for the People Gallery chooses to donate a percentage of sales to a nonprofit. This time, we are supporting Dress for Success, a non-profit whose platform is about empowering women to achieve economic independence. As a gallery that is women-owned and powered by a mighty team of women, we’re thrilled to work with Dress for Success.
