    About

The Really Small Museum is a (really small!) exhibition concept founded in 2021 to spark inspiration, conversation and connection. Just as the Earth and its ecosystems thrive on diversity, this POINT B Museum embraces the idea that to move from Point A to Point B in climate resilience, we must elevate and listen to diverse voices.

SEPTEMBER FEATURED ARTIST: Class of 2030: Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders
    'Voices- Ambassadors of the Vanishing'
Audio recording, research, photo collage, school objects, endangered color palettes.

'Voices – Ambassadors of the Vanishing' celebrates the creativity and leadership of 165 seventh-grade student artists from the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders (ARS), who became passionate ambassadors for Texas’s most endangered species. Guided by ARS STARS teacher Sharon Roy, students researched one of Texas’s 92 endangered species, wrote compelling advocacy letters to decision-makers, and designed wearable art buttons inspired by each species’ unique traits and color palettes. They then stepped into leadership roles, facilitating their “Eco-Art Ambassador Party” workshop for over 150 sixth-grade students—sharing their knowledge, creativity, and commitment with the next generation of change-makers.

This project is part of Climate Resilience with Youth, a yearlong and ongoing Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) initiative co-developed with UT Austin’s Drama for Schools and Planet Texas 2050. Students collaborated on this arts-based exploration led by artist and Planet Texas 2050 Fellow Juliet Whitsett. Together with teachers and researchers, they investigated how art and storytelling can deepen environmental awareness and inspire meaningful action.

This exhibition is a powerful reminder of what young people can achieve through collaboration and care—and how their voices and vision can help shape a more resilient future.
