A site-specific progressive installation at the Carver Library. Puppeteer and Illustrator Heather Jarry will be creating a different scene daily with her hand carved wooden puppets and watercolor paintings throughout the month of July within a glass case at the entrance of the Carver Library to tell the story of Wilma Rudolph, an American sprinter who overcame childhood polio and went on to become a world-record-holding Olympic champion and international sports icon in track and field following her successes in the 1956 and 1960 Olympic Games.

Visit the library any day in July during library hours to see the story unfold in its 26 complete frames or follow along on Instagram @HeatherJarry
Closing Event August 3 from 2:30-4:30 at the Carver Library.
