Man in the Can relates the story of Ronald Burton, a rodeo clown who truly feels that this profession is his calling. A film by Noessa Higa, Man in the Can was shot in various cities across Texas and provides a deeper look at the tight-knit rodeo community.
A cinematic exploration of the Texas narrative, the Museum's Texas Focus Film Series highlights stories by, for, and about Texans. This evening's program is shown in conjunction with our special exhibition, Rodeo! The Exhibition, and includes a film screening and Q&A with director, Noessa Higa, and documentary subject, Ronald Burton. Come early at 6pm for a welcome reception with cash bar.
Please note: Entrance for this screening will be at the IMAX lobby doors.
