You're invited to celebrate Women's History Month at an intimate brunch in the private mezzanine at Hold Out Brewing -- community and inspiration guaranteed. (This event was rescheduled from its original March date to April 26. But it should be Women's History Month every month, right??!)
We will create a simple and meaningful keepsake craft while learning from Becky Bullard, founder of Democrasexy, about some of our Texas foremothers: First Lady Lady Bird Johnson, Rep. Barbara Jordan, Governor Ann Richards, activist Emma Tenayuca, and Texas Rep. Sarah Weddington. We'll sift through historical photos and poignant anecdotes to find pearls of wisdom from these women's lives that will inspire us to successfully engage in changemaking today.
Coffee and light snacks are included; additional food and beverage will be available for purchase. Craft supplies also included in ticket price.
