From September 2-30, Cafe Lago in Lakeway, Texas is displaying more than two dozen of paintings by Laura P. Wright for sale.
Texas is home to more native wildlife and plants than any other state. Laura travels the Texas to capture them in photographs and paint them at her studio in Austin. From the majestic Great Blue Heron and chatty Cedar Waxwing to the American Bullfrog and Monarch Butterfly, their beauty is captured in acrylics as they court one another, feed their young, forage and fly. Relying on her own photographs and those of talented friends, she works in acrylics and cherishes her time discovering minute details of the world around her through art.
