Interactive light exhibits. Adult beverages. Industry networking. Surprise twists.

And all for a great cause!

Hosted by local design agency argodesign, this year's Think by Making Party benefits Girls Who Code - an organization committed to closing the gender gap in technology by providing education and resources for girls to embrace careers in computer science.

The party kicks off at 8:00pm in Maker Faire Austin darkroom, and attendees get special after-hours access to experience the exhibits.

100% of the $10 ticket price will be donated to Girls Who Code to help them launch the program in new communities, train instructors, provide students with educational robots, and more. Our goal is to raise $10,000, so we'll also be taking donations at the party (via cash, check, & square) if you feel you or your organizations would like to give more.

But first and foremost, please join us to explore the wild darkroom creations the Makers are showing off this year, enjoy surprise entertainment and music by one of Austin's favorite DJs, and raise a glass to coming together as a community to get more girls involved in shaping the future of technology.

All ticket holders additionally receive a free drink ticket and a $5 discount on Maker Faire festival tickets purchased at the door.
