    About

The Baron's Men presents William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale", directed by Anneliese Friend. The Baron’s Men is a Resident Repertory not-for-profit community theatre that presents plays that fit the time and style of ancient Greece to 1650, that are staged and costumed in a manner that is as historically accurate as possible. All shows are at The Curtain Theater, an outdoor scale replica of the original Globe Theater on the shores of Lake Austin.

"The Winter's Tale" is one of Shakespeare's later romances, sometimes classified with his other "problem plays", and features one of the most famous stage directions in theater history: "Exit, pursued by a bear."
