Multi-Instrumental String Quartet, Invoke is back at Batch - Craft Beer and Kolaches for their Under the Hood series, Monday, May 19th at 7:30 PM.
Under the Hood is a series that explores the boundaries between genres and pairs the sound of the string quartet with some of Austin's greatest musicians. This month, Invoke is joined by Jessica Healey.
A rising force in Austin’s indie and jazz scenes, Jess is a versatile vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader. Her genre-fluid style blends rock, soul, folk, and jazz, drawing comparisons to artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Madison Cunningham. She also leads a straight-ahead jazz ensemble, performing regularly at Monks Jazz Club and the Elephant Room. Her debut EP is set for release in May 2025.
