The Austin Traditional Jazz Society will open its 2024-25 season with Vic’s Hot Six, a traditional jazz band that plays New Orleans jazz in what might be described as a subtle, chamber jazz style. The band played their inaugural concert for the Austin Traditional Jazz Society in February, 2024 and were a major hit. The Society is pleased to welcome them back to the Ben Hur stage.
Vic’s Hot Six will perform on Sunday, September 22 from 2 to 4:45 pm at Ben Hur Shrine Temple, 7811 Rockwood Lane. There is plenty of free parking at Ben Hur. The hall contains a large dance floor. Snacks, beer, wine and sodas are available. Patrons can bring their own food. ATJS concerts are family-friendly.
Admission is $12.00 for guests, $5.00 for college students and members of the Austin Jazz Society.
