Come enjoy an afternoon of West African Rhythms & Dance with an energizing performance by Master Percussionist, Aboubacar Sylla from Guinea West Africa. Abou will perform along with his Austin based dance and drum troupe, Bramaya, in the courtyard at the African American Cultural Center at 2:00 followed by workshops at 2:30 and 3:15. 2:30 African Dance workshop will be taught by Master Dancer, Mami Camara from Guinea and 3:15 Dun Dun Drum & Dance workshop will be taught by Abou Sylla. Workshops will be held in the studio. Suggested donation of $15 to support local artists bringing cultural events to the Austin community.
