    Join us for an inspiring afternoon of art across all mediums, spotlighting BIPOC Austin voices at “What We Carry: A BIPOC Arts Showcase”! In partnership with RichesArt Gallery and E4Youth, this event will feature visual art, live readings and performances, and a teaser screening of the forthcoming short horror film “’What We Carry.”

    Event Highlights:

    * “What We Carry” Screening: Enjoy an exclusive early screening of “What We Carry”— a short film that explores themes of identity, heartbreak, and independence for an African immigrant couple stranded in rural Texas. A brief Q&A with the director, cast, and crew to follow.
    * Artist Showcase: Immerse yourself in artworks from local BIPOC artists in variety of mediums, from photography to poetry to graffiti. Hear more from the artists about their process and craft.
    * Arts Nonprofit Activity Fair: In addition to our showcase and screening, connect with local arts nonprofits at our Activity Fair! Explore resources, workshops, and initiatives that support BIPOC artists and communities in Texas and beyond.
