    About

At Wild Spirit Wild Places and Desert Door, we've always had a deep connection with the outdoors - after all, that's where the idea for our spirit was inspired. We know these spaces aren't always accessible, and we want to change that.

Our WILD event series will transport you to places you probably didn’t realize were in your own backyard. Here, you can fully embrace the outside, and you needn’t worry about roughing it - your time in the wild comes with an elegant hunter / gather feast that promises to be as breathtaking as the surrounding landscape. Plus, this incredible evening also benefits an incredible cause! All proceeds from WILD will benefit Wild Spirit Wild Places as they work to protect Texas’ ranch and range lands.

For this autumn edition of WILD we are returning to Spoke Hollow Ranch to enjoy the rolling landscapes of the Texas Hill Country along the Blanco River. We’ll honor the expansive views of uninterrupted sky and the big, bright stars that are iconic here, deep in the heart of Texas. Come for dinner, stay after to enjoy wide open - outer - space with guided astronomy tours and other activities to celebrate the equinox.
