THE ARMADILLO CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: HOLIDAY SHOPPING, LIVE MUSIC & FUN

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, one of Austin's longest-running iconic events, returns December 16-24, 2014 for its 39th season! This year's Bazaar features the most dazzling selection of distinctive gifts, fine art and artisan crafts. Over 160 locally and nationally acclaimed artists line the aisles of Palmer Events Center with stunning holiday displays.

Equally rousing is the Armadillo's legendary music festival. At least three bands per day claim the stage, from the hottest new groups to longtime favorites. Musicians include Ruthie Foster, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Carolyn Wonderland, Shinyribs, Mayeux and Broussard, and others.

Held at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Rd.), the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is in the heart of the city, just south of Lady Bird Lake. It's close to dozens of Austin's finest hotels and great dining. Admission for a single day pass is $7. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is available in the Palmer Events Center/Long Center garage.
